Many PFFUI bills acted on today in the Indiana General Assembly

Today the Indiana House passed SB 80 by a 94-0 and it is on the way to Governor Holcomb.  SB 80 allows members of the 1977 Indiana Police Officers and Firefighters Pension and Disability Fund who are in the DROP and fall victim to a line of duty injury (LOD) or illness to receive the benefits for the LOD and still receive their earned DROP benefit.

Eddington - Timothy L. Campbell, 56, died unexpectedly on March 22, 2017. He was born in Bangor on March 18, 1961, the son of Janice (Bligh) Campbell and the late Lawrence M. Campbell. He was a beloved son, brother, father, uncle, grandfather "Bump," and friend.

2017-2018 could prove to be damaging period for Federal Employees legislatively speaking. There are threats of damaging legislation, including the elimination of FERS, loss of appeal rights, loss of pay steps and contracting out to name a few. Some of these have already been introduced.

30-41 Memorial

The 30-41 Memorial is in need of mowing crews this summer. Generally one group mows a month at a time (3-4 times). If you can assist with landscaping, trash pick up or you are a fire crew that works near the memorial your assistance is also needed in watering trees, shrubs and grass in the dry months.

Hamden Central Communications received both 911 calls and a report from the fire alarm company that services the property.
