Toy Drive Success!

The toy drive was a success! We raised $3330 from our active and retired firefighters! This is the 5th year we have worked with Shopko for the purchase of the toys.  They are wonderful! In fact, Shopko employees donated money to add to ours! Shopko then gave us 10% more in gift cards to use. They even hired a cashier just for us to help with the shopping spree.

The Passing of an Icon
06/21/15 - Southern Missouri Professional Fire Fighters
It is with a heavy heart that IAFF Local 152 announces the passing of our Brother, former SFD Rescue Specialist, and former Secretary-Treasurer Aaron Goddard. Aaron was a hero to all of us. He was an asset on the fireground, in the firehouse, and as a friend, a mentor, a father, and a pillar of his community. As is too often the case, Cancer took him from his family at a shockingly young age.

The "5K for the 4th" that was held in May was and annually is the only race where the proceeds are for our annual Fireworks.
